How I Got Into Coaching
I found coaching by accident. Years of managing people taught me two things: I loved helping people grow, but I never loved telling them what to do.
Turns out, I wasn't managing — I was coaching. I just didn't have the tools for it yet.
I'm not interested in giving people answers. I'm interested in helping them discover their own — and become independent in the process. That's what coaching is, and it's what I was already doing without knowing it.
Going back to school gave me the missing pieces: proven strategies and the judgment to know when to use them. Now I bring both to the table.
I'm excited for what's next — and for who I get to help find it.
